About the author-

Dr. Sheila Balakrishnan presently pursuing clinical research in the field of infertility and Assisted Reproductive Technology. She is a professor at the Government Medical College, Trivandrum. She is a recipient of several awards both in India and abroad. She was awarded membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (MRCOG) in 1994 and also granted a fellowship (FRCOG) in 2008. She is also a receiver of a Commonwealth Scholarship award in the United Kingdom.
