About the Author G.N. Prabhakara Is a Principal and Professor of PSM at SDM College of Medical Sciences and Hospital, Dharwad, Karnataka, India. He has been a teacher for the past 34 years involving in teaching and training of nursing students. Medical students and students of allied health sciences in the country. He has served in Central Government medical colleges till 1974 and later in Karnataka State Government medical colleges till 2004 and later at SDM College of Medical Sciences and Hospital since 2004. An effort is made to incorporate theoretical, practical and field aspects of community health nursing in an understandable and simple language which is very much wanted in the field both by trainees and trainers.
