He graduated from the prestigious Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune and attained his MD in Radiodiagnosis from Command Hospital (Air Force), Bangalore.
He experienced a strong sense of empathy towards the Exam Going PG students (EGPGs) in the speciality considering their constraints of time, enormous volumes of unorganized study material, lack of authentic information and the varied individual ability to reproduce the knowledge while facing the examiner. The author has been coordinator for numerous MD and DNB exams in Radiodiagnosis. The poor performance of the students at the Viva table was very disappointing, disturbing and unwarranted. This was the orientation peak for the need of a comprehensive, credible and yet lucid study material for EGPGs. The author believes that success doesn’t always demand tearful hardwork and sleepless nights. There are always quicker routes to success available with a faithful companion. When the author is not engrossed with materializing his thoughts and ideas, he likes to swim or spend some quality time with his family and friends who are the cores of his wonderful life.
